About

Geometric art has been my lifelong passion. It’s more than just a form of creativity; for me, it’s a way of life. This love for artistic expression was kindled in my early years through the influence of my mother, grandfather, and my uncle Rein Dool, a highly regarded artist. They instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of creativity.

My mother, a true creative soul, was always immersed in the act of creating visual art during my childhood. Whether she was molding clay, carving stone, or coaxing melodies from the piano, her artistic sensibilities and the pure joy she found in creating filled my early years with wonder and endless possibility.

On the other side of my family history stood my grandfather, N.G. de Bruijn, a respected mathematics professor. His profound understanding of mathematical concepts and his love for patterns and structures fascinated me. Also, the works of Escher fascinated me throughout my younger years.

My uncle Rein Dool, a gifted artist, introduced me to yet another dimension of creativity. His work and unwavering dedication to art showed me how art can be a powerful means of expression. All these impressions combined gave a sense of crafting connections between the realms of art and science.

I’ve been drawn to simple creations since my youth. Crafting small tables and painting my first canvases were my initial steps. This modest beginning laid the foundation for my love for geometry and complex forms, ultimately leading to my own unique artistic expression.

With the introduction of this innovative geometric art, I hope to push the boundaries of artistic expression. This art form serves as a bridge between the traditional and the contemporary, where the precision of geometry melds with the boundless creativity of the human mind. It’s like crafting connections between the realms of art and science, finding a common ground where imagination meets analytical thinking.

With geometric art, I aim to create experiences that resonate with the soul and ignite the imagination. I believe that through the language of art, we can break barriers and unite people in a celebration of creativity and human connection.

The Origin and Vision of My Art Form

It all started with simple tables, harboring the promise of deeper complexity. Geometry fascinated me and evolved into a refined art form that appeals to people of all ages and backgrounds.

The essence of my geometric art goes beyond mere visual allure. It’s the interplay of wooden beams in each piece that, for me, mirrors the complex dynamics of life. It demonstrates how everything collaborates, how different elements come together to create something new, much like in life and in our society.

Everyone interprets art in their own way, based on personal insights and perspectives. This enriches the experience for each individual.

Using geometry, I infuse simple wooden beams with dynamic life. Together, these beams form robust artworks that add beauty to any space they inhabit.

This emerging art form resonates with many and ignites the imagination. The repeating patterns and intriguing dynamics invite everyone, regardless of age or creative background, to let their imagination run free. This is the story of my art, a narrative of inspiration, creativity, and the unifying element inherent in all forms life and our civilization.

The refined patterns and carefully crafted structures in my artworks speak to the harmony that can be achieved when art and mathematics converge. Inspired by my grandfather’s deep understanding of mathematics and structures, I am driven to explore the endless possibilities that arise when artistic intuition merges with thoughtful analytical thinking.

As I continue to seek out the boundaries of this emerging art form, I feel a deep sense of purpose and excitement. Each work I create is a testament to the seamless fusion of art, science, and creativity. Through my work, I aspire to leave a lasting imprint not only on the canvas of art but also on the hearts and minds of future generations of artists and thinkers.

My mission extends beyond my own artistry; it seeks to unite people worldwide through art, utilizing this innovative art form. I also aim to contribute to the world by radiating the aesthetic value emanating from my work. I hope to kindle inspiration, not just within my own generation but also among the generations yet to come.
